The Clean and Health Communities Act Promoting Environmental Justice in the Commonwealth

The Clean and Healthy Communities Act bill, based on existing state policy signed by former Environmental Secretary Bob Durand, directs the state Executive Office of Environmental Affairs to develop focus more attention and resources on giving communities greater protections and enforcement from pollution. The bill codifies existing state policy which was endorsed by community representatives and industry alike.
