Mossville Human Rights Petition
- March 2005. On behalf of residents in Mossville, LA, AEHR filed litigation against the U.S. government for failure to protect people from environmental hazards, in violation of the human rights to life, health, racial equality, and security of the home.
- April 2006. Inter-American Commission on Human Rights (“IACHR”) of the Organization of American States completed initial review of the Mossville human rights petition. IACHR sent official notice to the U.S. State Department to submit a response to the Mossville human rights petition within 60 days.
