STAR

The STAR (Strategic Toxic Air Reduction) program, was unanimously adopted by the Louisville Metro Air Pollution Control Board in June of 2005. REACT fought tirelessly in support of the local regulations in many ways and was able to submit approximately 4,000 cards and 80 letters signed in support of the STAR program, which was the largest response that the Air Pollution Control Board had ever received during a public comment period.
